Making Easy Money on the Internet

The very first thing to learn about making easy money on the Internet is that it is a myth -- just like the existence of unicorns and elves. There is no means to make easy money on the Internet. I know I'm going to be blasted by the Internet marketers who want you to believe, and want to believe themselves that there are ways of making easy money on the Internet.

Of course, easy money is a relative term and I'll admit that once you start making money on the Internet it is easier work than say making money as a brick layer. The problem is that people think they are going to earn enough money on the Internet to quit their jobs and live a life of leisure. And, certainly, some people do that. The point is, however, the people that eventually start making easy money on the Internet must pay their dues. They need to spend a lot of time, and often a lot of money, and definitely a lot of hard work before they ever start see significant earnings.

So, that being said, if you still are determined that you want to use the Internet to make money here is my advice:

Stop looking for ways of making easy money on the Internet

Accept that fact right now. If my comments above are not enough to convince you then you will need to learn the hard way. The hard way will cost you a lot of time and money. Just accept this as a given.

Don't buy useless Internet marketing products

As you are learning about Internet marketing you will find product after product that promises that you be making easy money on the Internet if you buy the product. It is a strong temptation to buy the products and look for the magical solution. Many of the products are junk and many do contain useful information, but most of what those products give you can be had for free on blogs like this one. There are some rare exceptions, but even with those, you need to be fully committed to your Internet business to go anywhere with them and if you are a beginner, you should steer clear.

Read all the free information you can find

As mentioned above, there are many, many great blogs that will teach you the basics of Internet marketing. If fact, the next post I plan to make on this blog will give you step by step instructions on getting started in Internet marketing at little or no cost. We will setup an affiliate marketing blog and show you what you need to be thinking about and doing to get your business underway.

You eventually need to spend some money

I would like to tell you that you can do everything for free, and you can, but once you are fully committed to having a profitable Internet business, you will want to spend some money to speed things along. By the time you are ready to spend money you will have a better handle on what will and won't work and you can avoid wasting your money on bogus products and services before you know any better.

Don't take on too many projects at once

This is one I've still not learned. I am a person that gets bored fairly easily and I tend to start a lot of projects and then not have enough time to devote to any one of them. I'm also an experimenter as you would guess if you knew about my education and work experience as a chemist. There are some very good aspects of the above traits as I tend to learn a lot with my various projects and experiments. The downside is ending up with a lot of projects that could have been much more successful if I had more time to spend on them. Try to pick one project and spend time on that project every day. You will make progress that way.

I hope I have convinced you that there is no such thing as making easy money on the Internet. However, you definitely can make money on the Internet, you just have to accept the fact that it won't be easy and it will take time, money, dedication, and hard work for the dream of Internet success to become a reality.
