My Power Mall and My Adventure with Marketing My Power Mall

Seven weeks ago I was introduced to My Power Mall by another About.com Guide, Scott Allen, who runs the About.com Entrepreneurs site. If it had not been Scott who told me I should take a look at My Power Mall, I probably would have dismissed it as just another "make money fast on the Internet" site. But since I knew Scott would not get involved in something that was not a legitimate and worthwhile business, I had to give it a serious look.

Well, I did check out My Power Mall and I joined because Scott recommended it, because it was totally free, and because it looked like something that could really work. I have to admit that I was not totally convinced of the latter until I had more experience with the company.

My Power Mall is totally unique. It's not an MLM, it's not network marketing, and it's not an affiliate program. It actually takes the best of all of those and leaves out what is bad about each one. There are no fees, no meetings and no selling. They even provide all the training and marketing materials you need for free.

As I mentioned, it has been seven weeks since I joined My Power Mall and I have built a network of 30 people in my direct network. Some have been from personal contacts, but most have been brought in through Internet marketing.

And that experience as an Internet traffic searcher is why this blog came into existence. As you see I have had success in bringing traffic to my Power Mall site, but there have been many bumps along the way. I have spent more money and spent more time than I would have liked in getting that traffic. What I hope to accomplish with this blog is help you avoid some of the mistakes I made and get some pointers from you in the comments.

I will also be using this blog to pass on suggestions and exchange ideas with my direct network at My Power Mall. Some of that will be of interest to the rest of you readers out there and some it won't. I'll try to mark the MPM specific posts as such in case you want to skip them.
